Message from Principal Quan

I am honored and excited to be your Quail Run principal. I'm starting my 18th year in education and this is my 5th year as principal.  Prior to coming to Quail Run, I was an assistant principal for 3 years at Windemere Ranch Middle School.  I am a Windemere community member and helped open Windemere Ranch as a teacher in 2005. One of my passions and strengths is educational technology.  I am a former computer, video production and yearbook teacher and have helped with technology training at the site and district level. I have also taught in Castro Valley, New Haven Unified and at California State University Hayward.

My husband and I have two kids- a 5th grader at Hidden Hills and a 8th grader at Windemere Ranch Middle School. It's so exciting to see them grow and learn each year. Elementary school is a time of curiosity, wonder and learning.  Our goal is for each child to become a critical thinker in a safe, encouraging environment laying the foundation for them to be lifelong learners.

I love working with the wonderful staff and connecting with our Quail Run families.  I am positive that we will have a great year!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail me at mquan@srvusd.net.
